Hi! I have exciting news coming 2026, but since this is my first blog post let's back up a moment and start from the beginning.
My name is Alexis, and I have been a massage therapist for over 8 years. At a young age I had always been drawn to helping others relieve pain and stress through massage therapy. This passion is what led to my career as a professional massage therapist in the beginning of 2017. After acquiring my license I worked at franchises and privately owned spas, and in that time I started to noticed these businesses were more focused on profits and volume instead of genuine client care and positive outcomes. That didn't sit right with me. After years of working like that I decided my clients deserved better, and I deserved better too. In 2021 I turned my vision into reality and Creekside Massage & Bodyworks was born.
At Creekside Massage and Bodyworks, we believe self-care, self-love, and self-confidence are the true pillars of well-being—and they’re at the heart of everything we do. We’re not just a place to get a massage; we’re a boutique spa devoted to creating deeply personalized experiences that support your unique journey. Whether you’re navigating life changes, healing from pain, or simply in need of restoration, our intention is to care for the whole you—mind, body, and spirit.
THE BIG NEWS: As my passion for my work has grown, so has my vision for client care and how I can make a more positive impact on this industry. Starting January 2026, Creekside will be expanding into a larger space to reach more clients and offer more services.
Once we are moved into our new space, we will have a team of therapists ready to help the local community. We are excited to offer a variety of services, products, and merchandise that lead to a better you. Along with our larger space, we will be offering community focused events throughout the year. This expansion is all about you and reminding you that self-care is not selfish.
